Join us for a tasting featuring Héritiers Saint-Genys, a rising star of Burgundy whose vineyards lie within the celebrated appellation of Chassagne-Montrachet.
Purchased by a restaurateur in 2010 after receiving a phone call from a friend, Patrice de Jeu found himself as the operator of a small Domaine in Chassagne Montrachet. Heritiers Saint-Genys controls the entire Mercurey 1er Cru Clos Marcilly, an exceptional plot of land. Supported by the oenologist Jean-Baptiste Alinc, this small Domaine produces wine in a traditional burgundy style, using natural winemaking methods in all of their vineyards. Their vineyards are within the Cote de Beaune, Cote Chalonnaise, and Beaujolais, both in village level and 1er cru.
This tasting explores wines shaped by limestone-rich soils and generations of Burgundian know-how. You'll taste through beautifully expressive Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that showcase the balance, minerality, and depth for which Chassagne-Montrachet is world-renowned. |
