The 2015 Cabernet Shiraz The Caley cellar release is not a massive wine, but it shows serious fruit concentration with earth, cedar, mulberry and redcurrant notes in balance with the high-quality oak. The palate screams structure, with a wave of significant but fine tannins enveloping its cascading fruit. This is long and superbly balanced, with genuine tension. The 2015 feels like it has found a focused groove where it will comfortably sit for the next 20 years or more.
