Felipe Müller’s world-class Sauvignon Blanc comes from a windy, north-facing, 1.41-hectare block within the greater Talinay vineyard. Entirely stainless steel fermented and aged, it is engagingly fresh, tangy and mouth-watering, all struck match, nettle, white pepper and elderflower and an oyster shell top note.

Talinay Sauvignon Blanc comes from a 1.5-hectare block of the variety planted in 2006 on a strip of calcium carbonate in the Talinay Vineyard, about 12 kilometers from the Pacific. That position tends to strongly influence the character of the wine, adding saline notes to the abundant herbs and citrus fruit here. The texture is firm, the tense tannins are like needles, and the acidity is refreshing yet grippy, providing structure and lending tension. A brilliant expression of the place.
The 2024 Talinay Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, transparent expression of this unique coastal site, opening with a citrus-drenched, stony bouquet with a subtle top note of passion fruit. The palate is austere and linear, concluding with a quenching, mouthwatering finish and a lingering mineral quality. Along with the rest of the Talinay range, this bottling has become a reference for Coastal Chile.
A pure and chalky nose of flint, guavas, freshly cut star fruit and a touch of green beans. Medium- to full-bodied with strong salinity on the center palate. It’s a smooth, nervy, salty sauvignon blanc. Gastronomic and delicious. Drink now or hold.
