The new release of Apanage is a complex Champagne based on three vintages 2018, 2015 and 2012 showing a bright Champagne colour with slightly green-golden hue. Very refined nose with elegant aroma reminiscent of ripe pear and starfruit, hints of lemon zest, discreet minerali-ty with a slightly iodine character, oyster shells, hints of green hazelnuts in the background. On the palate wonderful mousseux with freshness and creamy texture, fine minerality with again a hint of oyster shells, excellent depth and length.

This cuvée pays homage to Pommery , and more specifically to Madame Pommery, who transformed the champagne landscape by introducing the Brut.
It combines tradition (old vintages/perpetual reserve, use of chalk cellars) and modernity (low dosage, contemporary design, gastronomic profile)
Accessible and inviting, this aromatic profile unfolds with notes of brioche and hazelnut. The use of reserve wines brings added depth and a subtle patina to the blend. The texture is both enveloping and airy, with a richer, more expansive mouthfeel overall.
The nose opens on a complex bouquet of citrus confit, peach, and dried papaya, layered with hints of iodine, brioche, and honeycomb. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, broad, and vinous, offering a generous, layered core carried by impressive structure and vibrant tension. The finish is long, precise, and mouth-watering.
Utterly delicious, if only it came in magnum!
