A smoky, earthy, warm nose gets some crackle from a flash of salt and pepper and a slowly emerging note of barely ripe cherries. The fresh, astringent fruit component is accentuated by sweeter strawberries on the palate, at least until a refreshing, salty finish of mint chocolate.
