Although still a bit closed, there’s no doubting the precise balance between restrained richness and mineral freshness in this masterpiece. Incredibly silky texture on the medium- to full-bodied palate with delicately interwoven flint and grilled-baguette aromas. In the finale, the refined chalky minerality doesn’t want to stop. From a site over 300 meters above sea level, surrounded on three sides by forest. Fermented and matured in barriques on the full lees for a year. Drink or hold.
