Commes lies on the upper part of the slope, producing wines of remarkable precision, excellent density, and exceptionally fine tannins. It is slightly lighter in body than Gravières, distinguished by its refinement and elegance. A beautiful mineral thread runs through the wine, and the use of only 20% whole-cluster fermentation lends it a softer, more supple structure.
