Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
This is one of our favorite wines in the Maturana catalog, a white with the heart of a red, it is structured, rich in honey tones, ripe white fruits, and especially nuts that appear in the mouth, increasing that sensation of voluptuousness. A wine of generous proportions, ideal to accompany a fish casserole. Parellón comes from an old vineyard planted to semillon in 1928. It is dry farmed on the slopes of the Coastal Mountain Range in the Paredones area, very close to the sea in the Colchagua Valley. The grapes undergo partial maceration with the skins (25% of the total volume) for three months, all in stainless steel tanks.

A consistently very good semillon that shows well-judged flavors and structure from skin contact. Orange blossoms, fresh apricots, seashells and lightly peachy white fruit. Slightly tannic, with a medium to full body and a lengthy but subtle finish. Drink now or hold.
