This has a very pure, fragrant nose of red cherries and herbs. The palate is sharp but very drinkable, with delicate, fluid red fruit that evolves into a more austere and textured profile in the finish. Made from a vineyard in San Pablo at 1,500 meters, with 20 percent whole-bunch fermentation in a cement egg and two foudres. Drink now or hold.
