I loved the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc from this estate, a remarkably pure and classy white based on Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Bourboulenc, and Picardan. It offers a terrific perfume of stone and peach-like fruits intermixed with stony minerality, sappy herbs, and hints of spice. Balanced and medium-bodied on the palate, with a pure, layered mouthfeel and outstanding length, this absolutely classic Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc will have 10-15 years of overall longevity if well stored. Drink 2025-2040.

A blend of 40% Clairette Blanche, 40% Grenache Blanc and the rest a mix of Roussanne, Bourboulenc and Picardan, the 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc Le Secret is gorgeous, revealing aromas of white fruits, pear, flowers and fresh mint. Medium- to full-bodied, ample and satiny, it’s seamless and fleshy with bright, racy acids and a saline finish. This is a nice balance between freshness and maturity.
